How do I get a Refund on my Canceled Flight on Scoot Airlines?

Scoot is a low-cost airline based in Singapore. It handles flights on medium and long-haul routes from Singapore, mainly to China and India. At first, its fleet contained Boeing 777 aircraft serviced by its parent company, Singapore Airlines, which was later changed to Boeing 787. Scoot Airlines' head office is located at Terminal 1 of Singapore International Airport in Changi.

Can I cancel my Scoot flight?

Yes, you can cancel your Scoot flight, up to four hours before the scheduled departure time of your flight, subject to the following conditions:-

  • The flight you have booked is not part of any Interline travel.
  • If the fare of the last reservation is lower, the fare difference will not be refunded.
  • If the price of the new ticket is higher, the fare difference must be paid.
  • If your reservation is part of a promotion or two-2-Go, flight or date changes apply to all passengers on the reservation.
  • If your reservation requires a promotion code, the discount will be returned retroactively for all flights in the reservation.
  • Any rate gap between the discount and the original winning rate will be applied as promotion codes are valid only during the promotion booking period.
  • Changes to indicated destinations are not allowed. You have to make a new reservation, losing the price paid for the original reservation.
  • You can make your flight changes online by visiting the website under Manage My Booking on FlyScoot.com, the Scoot mobile app or through their Call Centre.
  • Standard charges will apply. Please refer to the Scoot Fee Schedule for the list of fees. The charges are different and depend on your destination.

What is Scoot Airlines' Ticket Cancellation and Refund Policy?

  • According to the refund policy, Scoot Air does not offer refunds if passengers cross the risk-free time zone.
  • There is no deduction charge if the ticket is canceled within 24 hours of booking.
  • When the airline cancels the ticket for any reason, you will get a full refund as per  Scoot's ticket cancellation policy.
  • According to the policy, you are fully eligible for a refund if the ticket is canceled within the day of booking and one week is left before the departure date.
  • The offline cancellation method requires more energy effort and you need to pay service charges.
